Here is the poem I read from in my LIVE video TEND TO YOUR GARDEN<\/a>\u00a0 this morning from here in Colorado Springs, MAN OF CLAY. I’ve created an art print of it for those of you who want purchase it for yourself or a gift for encouragement or to encourage. The sunset is from a recent photo I took with Pikes Peak in the center. The prints are available now in three sizes. You can also buy a frame, change the paper weight and gloss, plus customize it. We were born with a clean slate with a dream Father wrote for us in a book in heaven, Psalm 139. Many have had their influence in our lives, some for good and some not so much. Father desires to remold and reshape us so that we can attain to the wonderful purpose He created us for. Well, following are the words to the poem and links. MAN OF CLAY Poem by Joseph James<\/p>\n

Looked in the mirror, this morning to see,
\nNot sure who was there, could it be me;
\nSome kind of clay, a shadowy skin,
\nRose up inside and then hid again.<\/p>\n

As I pondered, being somewhat perplexed,
\nI heard a voice and wondered what was next;
\n\u201cMy son,\u201d He said, \u201cthis is not you,
\nBut merely man\u2019s covering, it just won\u2019t do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn your mother\u2019s womb, I formed you with my hand,
\nFrom wonderful thoughts that outnumber the sand;
\nI gave charge to others, to help guide you through,
\nTo help you discover, the treasures I hid in you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut many were jealous, they wanted yours too,
\nThey molded your clay and they formed you anew;
\nThey wanted My glory, they wanted your dream,
\nTo lift themselves up, to build their self-esteem.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou haven\u2019t yet become, all that you will be,
\nMy rain will come upon you and soon you will see;
\nSoft\u2019ning this hardened clay, with My love so true,
\nRenewing it again, and making it brand new.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know you are My child and if you will agree,
\nI\u2019ll take your pain, heal your heart, and set you free;
\nI\u2019ll take you higher, above the storm you\u2019re in,
\nI\u2019ll show you all the treasures, I\u2019ve hidden deep within.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis journey, it is long, yet you have all you need,
\nI\u2019ve given you the vision, it\u2019s in the form of a seed;
\nJust take My hand and walk real close to Me,
\nI\u2019ll show you hidden wonders, things you will need to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether we\u2019ll bless others, before this journey ends,
\nEven those who\u2019ve hurt you, including all your friends;
\nIt wasn\u2019t for hurt, you were placed in their sphere,
\nBut to extend mercy and love, to conquer all the fear.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLove without forgiveness, is no love at all,
\nJust as mercy without grace, can never stand up tall;
\nSo, walk in your freedom, in boldness and grace,
\nShare your life with others, help them find their place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looked in the mirror, this morning to see,
\nNot sure who was there, could it be me;
\nGazing in my eyes, seeing His Light inside,
\nKnowing from this moment, I\u2019ll never have to hide.<\/p>\n

In an instant and yet through the years,
\nHis love gently changing, driving out my fears.
\nGone are the scars, and healing has replaced,
\nNow, I feel a freedom, to soar and to race.<\/p>\n

All of those things, I thought were my own,
\nEven some friends, now left me alone;
\nI found that their armor and their way of life,
\nAt best only bound, producing too much strife.<\/p>\n

Looking again in this mirror on the wall,
\nThinking how many friends might come and call;
\nSeeing this hidden treasure, deep down in my soul,
\nMight they take a chance, to let Him make them whole.<\/p>\n

Oh, how my soul longs, and how much I pray,
\nThat each precious soul will go all the way;
\nTo discover the treasures, hidden deep inside,
\nAnd let Him reshape, heal, love, and provide.<\/p>\n

My Father\u2019s the Master, I am the clay,
\nLord, mold me and shape me, do as You may;
\nTo be a vessel of honor, one carrying Your Name,
\nTo all who are lost and filled with shame.<\/p>\n

Let Your glory so shine, may Your Kingdom, now come,
\nExpose all the lies, let them crumble and succumb;
\nYour ways are simple, Your wisdom above all,
\nYour way is freedom, we\u2019ve answered Your call!<\/p>\n
