I want to thank all of the people who have helped me in my life become who I am today. Through all of the trauma and the pain, they\u2019ve been by my side. They\u2019ve prayed for me, supported me, and most of all, encouraged me to keep going. Without them, I know I wouldn\u2019t be here today.<\/p>\n

I want to thank Natasha Elliott for her input in this book and for launching out with me to create these FAMILY FUN DAYS\u2122 EVENTS with our GCU Events Organization. I\u2019ve had so many start out saying they were in it with me who are no longer around. This journey is not for the faint of heart.<\/p>\n

To my family who don\u2019t understand, but are behind me anyway, thank you. I appreciate your love and support more than you can imagine. I know that some of you are at a distance, and that is okay as well. I get it. I\u2019ve been through so much over the years and it has caused a lot of pain to you all. It is my hope that when things change and I finally get on the other side of these things, that perhaps you will understand more.<\/p>\n

Because of the Lord\u2019s grace, mercy, love, and His incredible miracles, I am still alive and still in the race today. Many have prayed for us and helped to support us over the years and we are so grateful to you. All I know is that I\u2019ve done my best to walk His path of life for myself. I missed the mark so many times, but I\u2019m still heading towards the goal and the high mark He has set for my life. I know that He will make up for the loss it has caused with His healing to our hearts. He promises!<\/p>\n
